This is a Rick Nelson project - if Rick is unable to make any of the dates below, an alternative option will be taken, one choice being the 10:00 train from Piccadilly to Greenfield and a circular walk involving the 'Pots and Pans' monument. Also walks in the Bollin Valley and local to Timperley. |

The Steel Cotton Rail Trail - Sheffield to Grindleford - Stage 1 (18km). Meet at Piccadilly for the 8:48 train to Sheffield (10:04). Return hourly from Grindleford, 29 minutes past the hour. Rearranged - some of us are taking the 8:59 from Navigation Road to Sheffield via Stockport. Return from Grindleford via Sheffield. Further details from Martin and Sue. |

GM Ringway Trail Stage 12 - Norden to Bury (21km). Meet on 9:04 from Victoria to Rochdale, then taxi to Norden. Rail disruption may lead to this being rescheduled. Stage 11, Littleborough to Norden, is also to be rearranged. |
