| Sunday 16 November | Hebden Bridge - meet at 10.00 am at New Bridge car park (SD 989 291), a left turn off the A6033 just north of Hebden Bridge. This is a 15-20 km walk via the Pennine Way, the Packhorse Inn, and Hardcastle Crags. |
| Sunday 14 December | Xmas walk in the Peak District - meet at the Vanilla Kitchen Coffee Shop in Tideswell's main street at 10.00 am (optional) then start the walk from the Pay and Display Car Park at Tideswell Dale Picnic Site at 10.30 am (SK 154 742). This is a return, after 4 years, to our traditional 14 km route down the Wye Valley to Monsal Head, returning via Monsal Dale and Brushfield. Lunch has been booked for 12.15 pm in the Longstone Restaurant at Monsal Head Hotel - not in the Stables Bar. Please let us know, via the 'Contact us' button opposite, by 30 November if you plan to join us, and as the food is cooked fresh it will be desirable to choose our meals in advance, so we will provide you with menu details in early December (sandwiches ~ £5, mains ~ £10). |
