Route

    1 -> 2 -> 3 -> 1
    
    Instructions
    
    1 (SJ 937 772) Start at the Redway Tavern.
    
    1 -> 2 (8.02 Km) Take the track east, below White Nancy. 
    Turn 1st left then right down lanes to Pott Shrigley. 
    Turn right in Pott Shrigley, then after about ½ km turn left down a 
    track. Continue past a building on the left, 
    then take a track left past Birchencliff. At the road turn right and keep 
    going straight on until the 
    Middlewood Way is reached after 8km and 220m of ascent.
    
    2 (SJ 942 825) Junction with Middlewood Way (turn north a 
    short way for pub, café, marina, bus stop).
    
    2 -> 3 (2.83 Km) Suitably refreshed, continue on the Middlewood 
    Way in a southerly direction.
    
    3 (SJ 928 801) Minor road junction – of no particular significance.
    
    3 -> 1 (4.25 Km) Carry on down the Middlewood Way to Bollington. 
    Join the canal towpath soon after going over the Bollington Viaduct and exit 
    east over the first canal bridge after Bollington. Take the track right and 
    climb 120m to join the road in Kerridge. A left then a right turn takes you 
    back to the Tavern.
    
    1 (SJ 937 772) Redway Tavern. Total distance 15km, total 
    ascent 370m. It should take between 1.5 and 2 hours, plus pub stop.
